Just a note: I would not say that 3CE, Etude, and The Face Shop are small brands in Korea. The Face Shop (owned by LG) and Etude House (owned by Amore Pacific) have been around since the 40s-50s. Stylenanda/3CE has only been around since the 2000s but they're a fairly trendy brand especially amongst beauty influencers.

These are really not small brands, they're actually REALLY popular k beauty brands, but I guess if you don't really know k beauty, it can be easy to mistake them as such. But just for future reference, maybe don't assume certain brands are small. If they have a shop like this, they probably aren't.

Just a note on Korean pronunciation:
명/myeong is pronounced like it rhymes with “young”/“yung” and
동/“dong” has the same O sound as “dome”

And more generally, if you see a romanization of “_eo” (like in myeong/seong/etc) it is usually not pronounced “ee-o” but is a single syllable (어/여) that makes sort of like an “uh” sound (I think phonetically this is technically called a “schwa” or “mid central vowel”) —> for example that Beauty of Joseon sunscreen that’s so popular, it’s pronounced “joh-sun (조선)” and not “Jo-see-on” (which would be spelled something like 조시온 in hangul)

yesss make sure to visit all the roadshop stores for brands like bbia, etude, the saem, TCFS etc!! before olive young popped off people used to shop there
