WHO: Action against HIV drug resistance threat

The World Health Organization launches a new landmark report showing high levels of resistance to HIV drugs in some countries which could undermine global progress in the response to HIV. The Organization issues new guidelines that advise countries take timely action to respond to drug resistance and prevent its emergence. WHO also calls for joint global action with a new five-year plan.
