Exoman did both for colon cancer screening. The Cologuard test produced a positive result so a colonoscopy follow-up was required.

Thanks for sharing this. People tend to put this off as well as prostate exams. Catching things early if the best preventive steps against something major. Jen was a great nurse!

Had a Cologuard. It was positive. Had a CT Colonoscopy, it was negative. Will never do the Cologuard again.

I'm happy to hear that everything turned out good! 👍🏻 I tried the Cologuard, & I also got a positive result, so they sent me another one, & I sent it back to them, & they said that they never got it, so I finally said, "To heck with it!", & just went ahead, & got the colonoscopy. Fortunately, I ALSO came up negative, for the dreaded "C word". 😎👍🏻

As an Imaging professional, Colonoscopy is the gold standard. In a simple half hour procedure, we can image, biopsy, remove polyps, etc.. All in one shot. The sensitivity and specificity is as good as it gets. This is SO important! If you have been fasting, no need to do the whole prep. It is only to shed the poop from the colon. "Go lightly", hahaha. No, go like a grenade!!! Gotta say, Versed, Fentanyl, and Propofol is the best combo ever!!! Thanks for the continued good advise!!!

Exoman: Go ahead and poop in the box. Then, seal it back up and cover all the printing with tape and leave it on your porch so a porch pirate will get a big surprise.

Just turned 45, and I chose to poop in the box this first round. Came back all clear. Good for a few more years now. Good luck!

Cologuard doesn't replace a good old colonoscopy. The more dangerous thing is not a false positive.... it's a false negative.
Best route is to get the colonoscopy.... the prep isn't that bad.... and it gives your GI track a good cleaning!

Good video guys the Cologuard is fine but if you get a positive then you need to get a Colonoscopy and then the waiting would freak most people out and you get stuck with the Colonscopy bill what a mess take care !!!

What did the biopsy show from the large polyp. I tested positive with my 3rd colorguard . Had 2 negatives previously. I know I need a colonoscopy am scared to death. My blood pressure rises with all this stuff. White coat syndrome. I’m going to see if they can give me something before I get the colonoscopy done. I enjoyed watching your video on it.

I had Colin cancer so that wouldn't work for me 17 years clear of cancer

Good luck Sir. It appears as if you are trying too age as well as a person can. It sucks too get old and some people do age better then others but a person can take steps too help age gracefully with as little problems as possible and then others eat and drink themselves into an early grave as fast as they can.

The gallon of laxative is not bad. I hate it. But I put it in a 32oz bottle and use a straw. You finish it. Go in and get it done. You do things at home. Then you have to deal with the stress. Get it done. You only cheat yourself by doing short cuts. Good luck. Hope everything comes out ok. PUn intended.

At my first colonoscopy, the Doc showed me this thing with knobs, this one makes it go up/down, and this knob makes it go left/right...asked me if I had any questions. I said, "if you make a mistake, Doc, don't shake me to start over". ( As if I was an etch n sketch)😂
