There's a crescent-shaped relief in the cover, which provides clearance between the cover and the adjusting shaft. The relief MUST line up with the adjustment shaft, or the shaft will be difficult or impossible to turn once the cover is in place. The shaft may even be damaged. This was never discussed. (The tip of your left thumb touched the relief at 3:05)

The back won't pop back on. I used a broom stick and pushed all my weight. I bent the case back and it poped right off.
