Hi, I have added status on column A (ongoing, closed, not started, Waiting to receive the product ) and different dates on column B (received date). How can i use conditional formating on column A to change the status from ongoing or not started to "Alert" if the received date on column B is older than 30 days? But not change the status if the status is close (even though the date is older then 30 days).

Hello ExcelDemy I am great fan of yours and learned lot of excel formulas by seeing your vedios now i need a help hope you would help me in our office we have a daily tracker in that we have 12 agents and works in 24/7 shifts we work on incident tickets as soon as the ticket arrives we have enter the ticket number in that sheet and change the color of the cell manually according to the time the ticket arrived for eg. if ticket came in between 8am to 9 am it will be green if it is between 9 am to 10 am then red if it is between 10 am to 11 am then purple so on so instead of changing the color manually i need a formula or a steps so based on current time when the data entered into a cell the color should change please suggest

Great video! I am trying to figure out something maybe a little more complex, or rigid...I have a spreadsheet for books that I am reading or plan to read and I wanted a conditional format for using today's date as a reference and highlighting certain dates that a book was released within the last 30 days vs. any future dates. So as an example: today is 4/16/24. I have a book that was released 3/15/24 and a book that is going to released on 4/29/24. I want to highlight books that have been released in the last 30 days as green and any books that have a future release date as yellow. I have been looking all over for this sort of formatting but haven't had any luck. This video here is very helpful, however, it does not satisfy what I am wanting.

Will this work of all dates are odd? 1/1/2023, 1/3/2023, 1/5/2023, etc? I need the formula to change the color anytime a date changes. The array is sorted by the date.

Is it possible to set a rule that a sheet automatically updates when a date is reached? I want a cell to change colour when a specific date expires. Each row will have one cell with a different expiry date. Basically I want to set the expiry dates in the sheet and have it tell me when it has expired.

You did not use a formula to change cell colors, you merely used formula as conditions for a function.
