The Fabulous Fell Locomotive in action plus history

I put the KR Models Fell to work and we discuss some of its history.
I've included a careful mix of sounds to simulate what this loco might have sounded like.

The Fell locomotive was the only high powered diesel mechanical loco to be produced by British Railways.
It emerged from Derby in late 1950 and was a joint project of the LMS under H G Ivatt and Lieutenant colonel Fell of Fell Developments Ltd and Shell petroleum which helped to finance the project.
