Why is it a $12000 upgrade to get the turbo engine

You could have mentioned that the XT models offer more than you said. Like acoustic windows, tweaks in suspension and not sure if brakes are different. That would give more potential buyers

Everything is fantastic about this car, except the transmission.

I lease cars every four years, my brother buy cars every 12 years or more, my goal sporty Sedans, his goal is to save on gas, I hate CVT, he loves CVT. So Subaru whom do you want to built cars for????

If I am paying this price for your 277 Torque, I want it with an Automatic Transmission and not CVT. I test drove it, didn't feel the torque at all, wrong transmission!! I leased a A4 a few month ago, my first German Car after 10 years of having four Subarus. Looking forward to my next 10 years with Audi.
