Your daughter is so lucky to have a father who will teach her to know, love and respect nature and its inhabitants !!! Yesterday I had my first encounter with a very big wolf spider mama carrying countless tiny babies on her back, fascinating 🕷❤

Your daughter is really lucky to be able to get out into nature with her dad.

This time last year, I was shaking the rain from a small juniper next to my shed door, so I wouldn’t get wet going in there.
Unbeknownst to me, I had flicked one of those spiders into the hood of my hoody. I didn’t find out until I pulled on my hood and the monstrous beast began running around my scalp and neck.
12-months later I still shudder about it.
Okay, maybe not the identical spider, but still big and black with thick velvety legs and a bird’s egg sized body 😂

Well your good luck charm worked today! I mean, looking for a spider, even a big one in a nature reserve brings to mind something about needles and haystacks!
Nice one Liam and Riva (I hope I have her name spelled correctly!) 🌟👍

Ohhh, dat is een grote spin. Ik ben bang voor spinnen, zeker als ze binnen in huis zitten.
Zo in de film ziet hij er wel mooi uit.
Leuk dat je dit samen met je dochter doet.
Jong geleerd is oud gedaan.

Wonderful trip out again, thanks Liam! Sorry you didn't get to see the otter... one for another day out with the little one! One of my family worked/volunteered at Strumpshaw when they was young... forty years ago!! lol

Glad you finally found the fen raft spider! I've no doubt your daughter will be as passionate as yourself, my 13 Yr old son and I have spent all summer watching badgers at a local sett and it's a great bonding experience, out in nature teaching them about the things that really matter! Keep up the good work mate your videos are awesome 👌

Thank you Liam for the lovely walk. Your daughter is a very lucky girl! When she starts talking, be prepared for lots of “what’s that, Daddy?” 😊. I’m definitely not fond of spiders but I’m glad we saw that fenland one as they’re not around where I live. ❤
