What needs to be added is custom supports!! So we can put supports in manually and not this autogenerate one. Support blockers don’t even work 98% of the time. Use ideaMakers support system or Paint on supports like Super Slicer. PLEASE UPDATE the support system generator!!!

With all the marketplace support for 3rd party filaments, I really wish you'd actually offer an official solution for mounting 1kg filament spools on your machines. Almost nobody except you sells 750g spools, and I wish I didn't need to print hobbyist-designed accessory spool holders for such an expensive machine.

Hi, I have some issues with cura 5.0.0 I hadn't with 4.2.1. Firstly I can not fine the printer "creality cr 6 max". To manage that i've copy/past some files and folders from the 4.2.1 to the 5.0.0, but i'm not I've made it properly. Can you intergrate this printer in futures updates ? secondly I can not create new profils in my custom "creality cr 6 max" or delete custome profils in the custom FFF printer section. Have you some ideas why and how can I manage ?
(PS: forgive my spelling mistakes, I'm not from and english country)

My print quality dropped dramatically after switching to Cura 5, had to switch back to Cura 4.

No its not. Its damn useless. I calibrate my printer for getting a linewidth which is CONSISTENT. If you force us to use Arachne its just more userfriendly but you`ll get unable to dial in a real good setting! Also the seams do not align. Sorry, but this is the worst version ever!
Edit: And im sure thats why your cylindrical prints right from you are spiralized, right?

4.11 is putting the first layer at 178 layer missing the models actual layer 178 and trying to print the first layer at layer 178
4.13 is missing the middle of the model leaving a hollow area inside the model regardless of mesh resolution or lw and lh
5.0 has better travel moves and lw calculations but does not have plug ins for manual supports or any plugins and the z seam is not moving to the requested locations making the z seam not manipulable

i have had issues with a models splitting in the same area over and over why? because its missing a layer inducing the split because there is not 178 LH 178 is the first layer replacing the 178 layer with the first and then back to 179 leaving a gap this was not easy to see as i used fuzzy skin which covers LH lines well until the strength test it was then found missing the LH ordering

something is wrong with each version why cant you fix what you have before you make it worse again i have had stupid silly travel moves splits and poor tool paths all because of this slicer
its time to go to super slicer i guess
as for your bug fixes if you dont know the z seam is not moving around by the selection used why would i report the obvious you have not addressed?

i also noticed you 3S and 5S are ready for updating the firmware conveniently just them have an update and i bet the z seam works there! and can understand layer ordering appropriately

where is my 178 layer??? and why is my model missing parts now it was the same stl printed before with no missing parts inside the model?

Does anybody know why Cura 5 still has the "Print thin walls" setting? As far as I understand, the new engine (Arachne?) should make this option obsolete.

5.0.0 by link under video does not work on windows 7 x64. Error: api-ms-win-core_l1-1-0.dll missing on the computer.
I uninstall ms visual c++ 15-22 and reinstall it, reboot the computer and it didn't help, the same mistake.
At the same time, cura Arachnie_engine_beta_2 works perfectly.
p.s.: I also tried reinstalling care 5.0.0, it didn't help

The engine is great and all, but you guys messed up UI again. What's up with these random design changes on inputs/checkboxes and icons? Color contrasts are all over the place. Also, what about bridging? Any plans on improving bridges in Cura? Version 4 seemed like a great step in the right direction with the design changes, Arachne engine also was amazing for what it is. I try to use Cura whenever I can, but it's getting harder and harder to keep loving Cura. Also - Linear Advance plugin is non-existent in version 5.0. Nothing about LA plugin in your new revised Marketplace or anywhere else. Whats up with that?

Cura Released Version: Sorry I don't want to. I try and screw up my print. My support got welded to the model. Print is longer almost double then what it should by their calculation and for some reason I had a tab for screw mount and it just completely distorted even so it look good on preview. No Modifiers to work with I will stay with Prusa Slicer and IdeaMaker but not Cura.
