When you remember your buttons and don’t use mini map:

You can easily find out, make them fight each other at all ranges. Goliath will destroy flamenaut at mid to long range while flamenaut obliterates everything at cqc. Its all a preference thing. When you want something to camp inside an objective flamenaut is broken, when you want to be more flexible and be able to overlook an obj without being instantly destroyed Goliath is better. Overall I would say both are very good but Goliath has the edge

EMP is useless in higher ranks since everyone knows where buttons are. It is very costly. Plus FHJ is very effective at taking out nearly everything in 2 shots.
