Sage is a much easier pick in my opinion, second goes to Phoenix

I disagree. I can play every agent really well, but sova… nah sova is not for beginners. His ult is really easy to mess up, his shock darts are hard to use at a good time and most sova players ive seen using sova just shoot the recon at the start of the round and give away a lot of information without realizing it. I’ve had an easier time using astra properly.

as someone who was told to play sova when i first played...he was not the easiest. granted i was also new to fps games and valorant was my first shooter and tactical game, when i switched to sage she was definitely so much more easier than sova

Sage worked well for me and was great fun bc I felt like having value even though I barely made kills. People on iron where so nice to each other as everybody was bad…and on gold they have the biggest ego possible and every mistake is a no-go

As a sova main, Sova requires good precision, thinking skills and that ult is definitely not easy to use, u miss one shot, the rest 2 depend on pure luck

From more advanced agents I think that Cypher is a very good option because of how much info he can gather for his team. You just need to know where to place those stupid wires

Fade is the best for beginners. Sage and phoenix can be easy to use but sometimes teammates might blame their wrong walls and wrong flashes. Fade do not affect teammates and pretty straight forward.

Not Sova being one of the hardest agents in the game 💀 for beginners I would suggest Sage or Raze or Killjoy even, their abilities are easy to use and in case of these last two, deal a lot of damage.

1# gekko (byfar the easiest)
2# Phoenix (Healing, mollies, walls, flashes)
3# KAYO (Amazing util, especially flashes and knife)
4# Sage (great util, plus if you're kinda bad you can still support teammates)

I think kj is also good, she is even easier than sage sometimes ( and your iron teammates won't constantly shout "heal me sage" )

A lot of people saying they disagree but sova is one of the easiest agents to learn he’s just also one of the hardest agents to master. From a beginner POV they won’t try to master sova like lineups etc.

I don’t completely disagree with sova, but that’s only because his recon dart is easy to use, when you first start out you’ll probably think the shock dart is useless and the owl drone is hard to maneuver and aim the tracker. I’d prob go sky as her dogs easy to use, she can heal everyone on the team, her flash might take some time getting used to it, and her ult is really easy to use as a beginner.

Sage or sova, I dont reccomend duelist, phnx's flashes arent that easy to learn, you can easily think you heal yourself and your team.
Jett is not too hard or easy to learn but tbh the nerf went hard.
You could also go brimstone but you need to learn how to smoke properly first.
