I can hardly walk these days and my marksmanship declines although it was used mostly to win lots of teddy bears and toys for the kids in my neighbourhood. One important thing to know is:

Russian advances in urban areas depend a lot on huge gliding bombs. They bomb Ukraine's positions and level them, then they advance.

That's exactly, why Ukraine will get F-16. Their main task will be to destroy the bombers, or, at least, keep them away from the frontlines.

Then Russians would have to come up with a new idea, how to take ground. I really hope, F-16 are in action soon, and will have an impact.

The other important jet would be the Gripen, because Gripen isn't just easy to maintain, and cheap to fly, Gripen can carry the european Meteor missile, so it's independent from the US and their next president. Also the Meteor has a higher range than the AMRAAM the F-16 use. Meteor has up to 200km, under ideal conditions, so I hope, Ukraine gets Gripen jets. That it would be independent from US aid, because it doesn't use AMRAAM, would be reason enough 🤷‍♂️

Paul, who's going write the book on the 'crowd funded war' when the Ukrainians have won and this is over? Citizens have in the past, contributed to their country's war efforts via war bonds, but this is different. It'll be interesting to see the story told.
