The cruise lines are their own worst enemy by not enforcing hand washing, and the crew needs monitoring as well.

On our last cruise, I watched a guy pick up a premade sandwich in the buffet, then put it back down, and select another one. This type of behavior won’t stop until passengers start getting called out for their unacceptable habits….

Buffets are a big source of Norovirus. It may be time to have crew serve us. This does happen on some ships.

I was just on Harmony of the Seas. A crew member supervised the hand washing station before you entered the buffet.
I was on a bus tour that got the norovirus. 32 out of 49 passangers got sick. Some ended up in the ER. This is a nasty virus.

Please wash your hands, you spend all that money on a cruise and spend days in your state room washroom because you didn't take 1 min to protect yourself and other passengers.

Same thing on the Regal. People just waltz by the washing stations and what is so difficult about covering up when coughing or sneezing. Adults are worse than toddlers.

My husband and I avoid the buffet if we can. If we need to go to the buffet we thoroughly wash our hands, but we see many people not washing their hands. Same in the bathrooms!😳

Royal Caribbean still have people stationed at the Buffet telling people to wash their hands. I just got off a cruise and I'd say most people were complying.

I feel sad for the passengers who were planning to go to Alaska. That is a bucket list cruise for many people.

I'd like to see all cruise lines go to the crew serve process in buffet due to health reasons / health and safety standards

NCL Getaway is having a “Code Red” because of the Norovirus, at least according to the Facebook group page for that sailing. So not only is it going to be late getting into port but then they are going to have to do a deep clean before the next group can get on.

Radiance has bad luck. We were on her in May 2022 and she took out part of the dock in Sitka.

It's a shame to see so many people still not washing their hands after what we have all been through. If passengers don't want to follow basic hygiene requirements maybe they should be banned as they are potentially putting others at risk.

Again I avoide buffets as I see people touching my food without washing hands… have we not learned anything by now? And yes I have had Norovirus, 5 days sick as a dog in cabin…
