Great video. This is one of my least favorite types because there’s such a wide range of facial features and body types and compositions between FN and SN. Nothing about styling that applies to Florence Welch (FN) for example, would apply to Jennifer Lopez (SN) - and none of the other type families have such a huge chasm of options between the yang or yin undercurrent. Kind of feels like a catch all for women who didn’t check any other other boxes.

i think it is really important to factor in and consider your essence and natural coloring along with your body type when creating your look. It is a bit odd to say SN shouldn't have dark or straight hair or wear dark colors.

I'm an SN with romantic and dramatic essence and so I definitely don't look good in extremely casual clothes. My best look is not too much makeup and flowy definition in everything.

It is normal if I struggle with my type between FN or SN? I feel my body is more yang, but my face and hair works otherwise and makes flamboyant stuff look a bit off. I feel flattered in SN lines too, but I think my "essence" and mannerisms are more FN! I think I'll just go to Natural stuff and problem solved 😂

I hope someone can help me. I originally thought I was a Romantic Type, but my bone structure is wider and my waist isn't small enough for Romantic, and I always felt my facial features were not quite Romantic. I ended up realizing I am most certainly a SN. My body is very similar to Florence Pugh or a size 8-10 version of Shakira lol. My problem is, I feel that these typical SN clothing like tshirts, shapeless tops, etc...look bad on me and make me look bigger than I am, I wonder if this is because I am not slender like Sandra Bullock. I am somewhat chesty and if the top I wear is not fitted at ALL, it just drapes over my chest and I get zero waist emphases at all. I know this can be a problem with SN body type. Also, I am very pale and so grey, white, colors like that really wash me out. I know what colors work for me....normally cool tones. I am just confused as to what clothes to buy while still staying in the SN spectrum, in terms of fit. Does anyone have any suggestions? ☺️ Thanks!

I do not like soft natural styles. It’s not sexy and looks juvenile and baggy
