The first wave of amiibo that released in November 2014 had some significant quality issues. Nintendo really improved on these over the years but it’s interesting to look back on some of the more glaring issues. #nintendo

Hey he's all good, it's just the protagonist of a cancelled game and his name is Morth

Samus with two canons was flames but nothing compares to Little Mac with a lost Torso, sitting on the shelf in eternal torture

The face of my Marth is really good. I'm glad I didn't get a derpy one.

The problem was that Nintendo wanted them to be affordable because the toys to life trend was still a thing. Around the start of the switch era, the mindset was changed to boutique figures that also has some in-game functionality. That's why the newest figures look so good; the price was increased a bit and no expense was spared.

So much better now, especially with similar aesthetics to Marth like Cloud, Bayonetta, and newer Xenoblade amiibo

I miss the hunt for amiibo, but I'm glad it's over. Pity nintendo never quite figured out what to do with them gameplay wise.

Im glad amiibos Is over. It was hard enough buying a game and then had search for amiibo to get dlc or Skin.

I remember how goofy the early amiibo faces were 😂 the quality really got bumped up in later waves

this begs the question, are there any Samus amiibo with zero arm cannons?
