Mule tape. Is it better than 550?

OOPS,! I said "2500 lbs" was the lowest weight rating I have seen but I meant to say 1250 lbs. I've seen 1250 up to 6000 lb rating. 550 cord is great stuff but did you know about Mule Tape?

Drop it in the washing machine with some RIT dye and make it any color you want! Green, black, brown etc.! No more white!

i have wondered about this stuff John...i think this stuff would be great for hanging my hammock...the nylon tape that came with my DD hammock is seven years old now and showing some wear...thanks for the tip brother!...woods

For those asking why they only find 1000ft rolls, i actually found a website called paracordgalaxy dot com that sells in 100ft and different lb capacity for about $6. Don't know the reputation of the website but i did find one that sold it in more average consumer lengths.

Here is a bit of information you not know. If you can find where they are installing communications cable ( i.e. phone, cable, fiber optics), good chance they will have some just laying around that they have already used. And a good chance, if you ask, they will let you have for free. Used it when I was doing communications work, and most of the time, the company discards it after use.
