Questions of the Day: 1) How do you like to let your hair down? 2) When was a time you had butterflies in your stomach? I look forward to reading your responses 🤗.

My answers: 1) To let my hair down I enjoy eating delicious food, listening to great music, watching a play or musical at the theatre, and spending time with my husband🤩. 2) I almost always have butterflies in my stomach just before I go on stage when I am performing. I also had mega butterflies in my stomach the first time I met my husband's parents 😅.

Jen, these idiomes undoubtedly enrich the language an awfully lot.
I was nervous about planning some little travel, but when I almost decided, I get travel fright, I really get butterflies in my stomach if I decide to make the reservation, bacause I know that at this time is dangerous. So instead of travelling, I let my hair down by staying at home and do somthing that will produce me some kind of fun.
Thanks for your lesson👏🏼🌹🍁

Hello how is going I am hadi. Once again a valuable addition to my phrasal verbs bank and, I can dip into it confidently whenever I need.I would love to see more body phrasal verbs from you.
Usually I take a break from my work at around 12:00am just to let my hair down with a cup of tea and watching local news on TV in cafeteria. some time it becomes counter productive when we get late back to our work and face the music from our immediate boss. If you find any grammatical mistake please do correct it. Thanks

Hi Jen,

When I’m off work after a long day, I’ll sit on my couch with a nice cold beer 🍺 to let my hair down.
When I had a crush on my wife, the first time I met her, I had butterflies 🦋 in my stomach. I was in love ...
In Holland where I come from, they use the same expression when you are in love with someone or have a crush on someone. Is that also the same as in Canada? When I’m anxious about something, I’ve got a stomach age. Butterflies are more connected with a pleasant feeling.
