Create a Lanyard or Keychain with the Crown Sinnet - ITS Knot of the Week HD

For a really useful tool, use this technique but wrap your stripped paracord around a 1/4 inch wooden dowel cut to 4-6 inch length, depending on the width of your hand. This effectively turns your keychain into both a flail and a kubotan. I've taken mine through both TSA airport security and to jury duty with no problem. To make the striking end of the kubotan stiffer, heat the whole end of the lanyard so when it cools it's nice and crispy. I've also made a lanyard with a carriage bolt woven inside, but of course this won't past most security checks. Good for EDC though.
