Lyrics
Give me a ticket for an airplane
I ain't got time to take no fast train
Oh, the lonely days are gone..I'm coming home
Oh, my baby she wrote me a letter

I don't care how much I've got to spend now
Oh I'm gonna find my way back home again
Oh the lonely days are gone...I'm coming home
Well, my baby she wrote me a letter

Well she wrote me a letter
Said she couldn't live without me no more
Listen to me Mister don't you here me ravin'
For my baby once more...Anyway

I don't care how much I've got to spend
I will find my way,oh way back home again
The lonely days are gone...I'm coming home
My baby wrote me a letter

Well, she wrote me a letter
Said she couldn't live without me no more
Listen to me Mister don't you here me ravin'
For my baby once more...Anyway

Give me a ticket for an airplane
I ain't got time to take no fast train
Oh the lonely days are gone..I'm coming home
My baby wrote me a letter
My babe
My baby wrote me a letter
Wrote me
My baby wrote me a letter
My baby wrote me a letter
Myyy,My Baby wrote me
Well she wrote me a letter.Well she wrote me a letter
Oh,My Baby,Aaah Ha.She done and wrote
My baby wrote me a letter

Thanks For Listening...

Why isn't Joe Cocker in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? This is TIMELESS!

Brad Pitt driving down the sunset strip to this song was really mesmerizing and such an iconic moment in film imo

Saw Joe in concert when I was eleven. Stevie Ray Vaughan opened for him. Stevie died two months later. Great show. I'll never forget it.

Figure this, Whitney Houston in The Rock n Roll HoF and Joe Cocker wasn't even considered. Joe's performance at Woodstock is the best rock performance I've ever seen. He's the definition of Rock.

No auto tuners, No voice modulators. No synthetic music, just real raw, god music was great back then. music today is like movies all CGI videos, it's not about music today just the video.

Possibly the best live rock song ever recorded in music history, and a measly half-million views. God help this world without hearts

This was an incredible performance. Music was so much better before auto-tune.
