He was ridiculed by many Americans and was treated horribly.. My favorite singer of all time The Phenomenal Joe Cocker 🤩

Joe’s ‘spastic’ presentation spoke to how much he was in tune with the musical vibration of the song he’s singing!

Joe is expressing exactly how most of us of that generation and time period felt. R.I.P. Joe.

The big 3 live recordings with a similar sound at that time were "with a little help from my friends" "the letter" and the last one that you have not done yet is "cry me a river". I would not be surprised if you like that one even more!!! Thank you for such genuine heart felt responses. We feel what you feel!!

Joe has always moved like this in all his music. He throws himself into it. it's raw powerful and has no fancy gadgets just talent.

Some people are raised to believe people should sing like angels and have trouble climbing out of that box.
They miss out on the beauty of Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin

You should hear Joe sing First we take Manhattan. Sung with conviction in his voice.

A big thank you to you both. Joe C. really "lived" his music. . .such a soulful voice and the big band sound is fantastic. "Unchain my Heart" is another powerhouse of a song by Joe.
