Wayne! I LOVED this video. Would you mind if I shared it in my Discord? I've missed your non-scripted approach. Also thanks for the mention. If you ever need support my Discord members are very happy to help. Open XR should already be your runtime unless you are using Steam VR. The Open XR Toolkit is a great tool, but in my opinion not as essential as it once was. Best of luck with your PHD, that's one hell of a piece of work. Take care mate 🙂

I've been flying helis in MSFS since Flyinside's Bell 47G came out, but I can't remember ever feeling the sense of vertigo I felt last night hovering the new Bell 407 near the observation deck of the Space Needle in Seattle. This was on VR, obviously. I agree absolutely, you get a completely different appreciation for the scenery detail flying helicopters

Nice video and great to see you back again. I refer to your video about the Buttkicker on quite a few occassions as I used it to make my purchase decision. Watching this reminds me of trying to describe flying in VR to friends and family. I can't put it into words and it never gets old. Are you using OBS? I recently did a PC rebuild. I'm thinking about streaming to convince my buddies to join me in DCS and MSFS. I can't get rid of dual lens rendering in MSFS while streaming in Discord and thought I'd ask you before starting my research. I'm using Reverb G2.

I use an old microsoft sidewinder ffb joystick (unpowered) for flying helicopters. But any joystick that you can disable the centring spring will do the job
