The following is a 100% real story.

This happened in a Spanish forum. Some newbie guy started learning CFOP and complained that a PLL case was missing in literally every single list. He was really annoyed that no one before him noticed the missing PLL case.

He named the case X-perm and described it as all edges permuted and corners diagonally permuted.


Facepalm.

All the pll perms are F perms for me, the one exception to that being last layer skip perm

I know why H Perm is called H perm. Do half of the alg, and you will see an H shape on the top of the cube! :)
