Thanks for addressing this. I have been feeling every one of these things while taking care of my 98 year old aunt. I had almost begun to think I was losing my mind. Thank you for shedding light on the topic.

Here's the thing, I take care of my bedbound mother 24/7 by myself with absolutely nobody else helping. No family nothing. Medicare doesn't allow respite unless they are on hospice and there is no respite help unless you are under a certain income. She's barely over this income and she pays all her own medication and for me to be a caregiver and have the ability to be home so no respite help, no help with prescriptions. Nothing. Unless you're poor you don't get that, they're only answer is well better put her in a nursing home and turn her over to the state. I don't want to
