Had to smile a bit - Michelin tires are the absolute worst for browning. I remember one vehicle that I had to clean 8 times before I got nice white foam. Good practical demonstration - thank you!

Thank you! Saw your video and tried it on my old dirty golf cart tires..."it WORKED". Awesome.

Fine video. FYI the browning is also due to anti-ozonant that tyre manufacturers use to prevent the rubber from stiffening prematurely. If you store completely clean tyres for 6-12 months without them coming in contact with any dirt, they will nevertheless begin to look brownish due to exuding of anti-ozonant.

Great video! It was nice that you showed us the real deal. It takes usually more than one scrub and with elbow grease they come out fresh and new looking. Thanks again.

Greetings from the Ohio Porters.🇺🇸 Ahhh…it’s good to take care of those nice, new or newer tires. I like that you were honest about having to possibly clean them 2 or more times before they really change enough. 🤩 A good brush makes all the difference. Like the old saying…”You get out what you put in” is very true in this case! I like to clean, degrease my tires when I take them off to rotate them, but that doesn’t always work because that process takes HOURS. But it’s very effective!! 😎 Here’s something that I’ve found as a backup…I take some 2x6 or 2x8 blocks of wood, place them under each tire, drive upon them. This gets the tires off the ground and allows me to get to the entire side of the tires. It also raises the tires up so I don’t have to struggle as much physically. I’m usually washing the entire vehicle as well at this point. When I drive off those blocks I know that they’re clean, treated and dried enough for me to show off my hard work. Remember, most of us don’t have the luxury of doing them in a nice big garage. Enjoyed your video! 🤩 Keep em coming! 😎✌️

I use Superior dark fury to clean tires and wheels. It does a great job! I use hyperdressing if I want a quick dressing it dries to a matte finish. I also like VLR dressing it gives a gloss shine but takes a bit more time to apply appropriately.

Super Clean really works well for this, even if you first scrubbed and rinsed with detergent; you will still get that brown runoff after spraying and scrubbing with Super Clean. It makes your tires look like they are brand new off the shelf with solid black color. But, it is so expensive now I don't use it anymore. Also, it will wreck your skin so gloves are not optional with that stuff.

What would you recommend for browning tires, But I have matte wheels and think they are more sensitive? could be wrong just what I was told. Only thing I'm worried about is hurting the wheels can't stand the browning looks so bad.

The brown is from within the tires it's called tire blooming if you are using all purpose cleaner degreaser cleaner it contains sodium that will make tires brown out because of the natural blooming from the tires. So reduce your APC to 4 Part water and 1 Part degreaser.

I think a more fair comparison would be if you washed the whole thing normally first so it is clean vs deep clean not dirty vs deep clean

Quick question, can you use this method on the whole tire on the car while it is parked, if I hire someone to do that? To succeed at diminishing new tire outsourcing you must treat the whole tire, both sides. Or do i need to put car on lift, like a garage does?
