Ive just got into Sim racing, this channel seems to have everything i need :)

I've been running this wheel exclusively for about 5 months and agree with just about everything in the video. I was skeptical of the thumb encoder location but got used to the location pretty quickly. I drive GT cars mostly so I have these mapped to BB and TC and don't change them much throughout a race. Open wheel cars might have different needs but I dont have an issue changing position mid corner. Build, button and encoder quality are so good on this wheel! If you don't need the RGB it's hard to overlook this wheel.

Thanks for reviewing this product. I bought this wheel rim (SC2 wireless version) earlier this year & I absolutely love it but I hadn't fully appreciated all the features of the encoders & I hadn't managed to properly figure out the bite-point adjustment. I drive in gloves so I hadn't noticed anything off with the grips. It's a quality product for sure & I reckon that for twice the price of my original Fanatec rim & universal hub, it's at least twice the product.

Just got this wheel last week!

I also have the Simucube Tahko wheel which I think is great given you are after that shape, the shifters feel great and very seamless setup and config.

I then got attracted by the F1 wheels and got an Ascher Racing F28, which I think is amazing as it feels like a super solid product and the shifter feels incredible (but a bit louder).

I then got into the size and screen envy....and looked at GSI wheels or the Rexing Mayaris...but I ended up buying a VPG Elemento PRO as it was "different". However I didn't like the shape, the screen is never really in the right eye-position, set up a bit clunky, and the usb cable... let's be honest....is not as nice as having a wireless wheel, so it felt a downgrade that cost £1200.

I now ended up buying the Ascher Wheel F64 v3 wireless which is the best combination of everything even if it is really expensive....but I think I will stick to this brand going forward or I'll wait for a F1 wheel from Simucube.

I mostly play ACC :)

My wheel since Day 1 of V3! It amazes me I cannot change this amazing wheel with anything, but will see Hyper P1 soon, lets see Hyper gonna replace my veteran Ascher V3 or not :)

I bought this the second I heard they made the F64 wireless. I had the F28 with leather grips which used to be my favorite rim but this new one blows it out of the water.

My only concern is the rechargeable battery. What happens when that eventually dies and I'm out of warranty, or maybe Ascher doesn't make/service that rim anymore, or maybe Ascher goes out of business? With the F28, I just need a generic battery. Would I be able to replace the rechargeable battery in the F64 in the future?

That tacky grip always brought up is what the actual or IRL steering wheels use for grips. It is because they are more grippy. I prefer them, they are easy to clean despite being dust and dead skin cell magnets. A microfiber towel is all it takes to clean, just damp it and good to go.

The thumb encoders on the ascher is just wrong. The F-Pro I’ve heard many say the calibrations is off or a problem calibrating, or is that the F core or both?

The the USB version has different more limited functionality. It is truly limited to 64 inputs. 66 if you include the clutch paddles. This is because the encoders only have one mode which is just push button encoders. Also, only one multi-function switch can be set to "shift" mode at a time. Not both, like you see on the SC version.

@boostedmedia, can MPS be setup as regular rotary encoders, or can they only be switched between MPS and rotary-shift?

Also, can they be switched back and forth (MPS <-> RotaryShift) on the fly? (Same for the top encoders)
