the oreo website says that oreos are not suitable for vegans because they have cross contact with milk. but they don't have any dairy in them so they themselves are vegan

Candice can you please tell me if oreos are really vegan? I heard that the sugar in oreos is processed with bone char so that would make it non vegan.

I made these for my kids and they loved them! Although I used half spelt flour. I will never do that again. I would love a gf flour to use.
