Enhancing Yalom's Curative Factors through Therapeutic Documentation

This session will describe the use of Therapeutic Documentation during multiple semesters of a Master's level Group Counseling course. Students were asked to complete a survey linking Yalom's Curative Factors to use of the Therapeutic Document. Results indicated that each Curative Factor was experienced and enhanced
through use of the Therapeutic Document. In this session, participants will be instructed on creation of a Therapeutic Document, as well as outcomes from this study. Ideas for using the Therapeutic Document in Group Counseling courses will be explored.
