The James Webb Space Telescope has captured an extraordinary view of the Ring Nebula, an iconic cosmic halo situated 2,200 light-years away. This Cheerio-shaped structure is the stunning remnants of a dying star, now visible in astonishing detail. The bright ring is made of about 20,000 clumps of dense molecular hydrogen gas, each as massive as the Earth. With unprecedented spatial resolution and spectral sensitivity, the telescope has revealed new information about the nebula's inner ring's filament structure and ten concentric arcs. These latest insights from the JWST continue to illuminate the intricate complexities of the universe, offering a unique window into the majestic beauty of space.

The best thing about these types of videos is the 3 dimensional visualization of the object. I love astrophotography. It’s very difficult to get a true representation of the vastness and true dimensions of any object from a 2 dimensional photograph.

After a lot of mind boggling it gets exhausted from thinking about the extreme conditions and astronomical numbers and just makes you 🥱😪

Is there anything the JWST can't do?

Complex plasma formation. Some of that out there almost looks like it's alive. Those massive plasma filaments webbing out like brain circuitry. Those weird looking plasma clouds and galaxies.

How are they coloring the photos? Is it based on chromaphores? Is the spectrum imaged used to see chemical in it? Do they just throw in colors that made it look, "pretty."

The picture is computer art since the JWST doesn't capture visible light - near infrared

Looks like giant serpent eye/ all seeing eye. ( Is said this is the section of space the draconian empire entered from another dimension) Makes sense now 🤔 What if they destroyed the area for resources like they did the lyrans and we just now seeing the after shocking due to the time it takes livht to travel? Meaning it happened millions of years ago yoday but to us we just now seeing it😮
