Well, I can tell you that I'm a left-leaning, moderate atheist that historically goes blue or purple most years, but I've already decided to vote Republican in 2022 and 2024.
I'm sure I disagree with a lot of you guys on plenty of stuff, ha, but at least we try to find middle-ground together with rational debate. Not so with these clowns, who keep just doubling down and down on identity politics and science denialism. Like Ben said, there's no such thing as 'moderate left' anymore -- and right now, I wouldn't trust any candidate who claimed to be.
So glad to hear I'm not the only one 'crossing the aisle'.

Here's the thing, there's room for moderates in the Republican party. There is no room for moderates in the Democrat party. They will NOT tolerate dissent.

What really worries me is that our GOP leaders don’t have a real moderate actionable policy for 2022. When the talking points are about revenge (investigations, etc), we are going to (again) frustrate those Moderates who are now suffering from buyers remorse with Biden. We NEED the GOP to focus on delivering moderate actions to help our country and stop wasting time.

When I was in college, I've got leanings which make me considered liberal though I'm fiscally conservative. The mid-2010's was the point where I felt that the Democrat Orthodoxy had just gone way too far, and recent events only solidified my beliefs.

I said this years ago, hispanics start as Democrats because os the gaslight of discrimination. The reality is, we arr conservative in nature and with time they shift.
