How to Highly Compress File Size using WinRAR

In this video, I will show you how to compress file size.

In order to understand how to highly compress a file you must follow the steps shown in this video.

To compress large files to small size, we are going to using Compression software.

WinRAR is the best software for file compression. This tutorial will demonstrate how to compress a file with WinRAR. (Link Given Below)

Compressed folder is smaller in size, hence easier to upload and takes less time for data transfer. This also comes handy when you have to send files through email attachments, as there are size limitations.

Compression Method: Best
Dictionary size: 128mb

Create solid archive
Lock Archive

One remark: set Dictionary size as big as you can set in your system.
1024 Mb needs 6.3 Gb of RAM for compression and around 1 Gb for decompression.

thank you for this tutorial! Even though it dint reduce the file size that much for me its still very helpful!
(it went from 823MB to 799MB, its 3d models .stl i guess it cant really be compresed that much)

i compressed my 16gb files... it became a .rar file but still same size

I did exactly as you did, nothing changed. I tried to compress a video file.

The rar file ended up having a bigger size than the original file itself.
The original file was 9.15 GB, the "compressed" one was 9.17 GB..
