Fun fact: in french we call moths "papillons de nuit" which literally means "butterfly of the night", so to us butterflies and moths are literally the same insect, the only difference being the time of day that we see them

The concern I felt when you said butterflies have three life stages, and the pictures were caterpillar, butterfly, and moth. 😂

i used to be extremely afraid of crane flies, but after a lot of crane fly jumpscares, i managed to appreciate the weird little guys for how neat they are.

When you had pictures of a caterpillar, a butterfly, and a moth all lined up in that order, then said "I'm going to rank each of their life stages separately, " I briefly had the horrified thought of "oh god no, does he think that the moth is the third life stage of a butterfly??" But of course you were referring to the larval, pupal, and adult stages the whole time!!!

One time I saw a cicada struggling on its back, and when it flapped its wings, it spun around incredibly fast like a Beyblade. That’s gotta be worth a couple extra points, right? 😂
