WHD 14' Quiet Practice Hi Hat Cymbals | Gear4music demo

Показать описание

The WHD practice 14" hi-hat cymbals are a perfect solution to drummers that need near silent practice conditions, but still maintain the same feeling of a high quality cymbal. The cymbals get their reduced noise properties from the drilled holes, giving less resonance than a standard cymbal, but with all the robustness and feel. In a contemporary nickel finish, these cymbals will allow you to play longer in to the night without upsetting the neighbours.

I actually prefer the quite sound over the full ones, I'm going into drumming from a producer stance and they have the sound I use when producing, very happy with them.

I ordered a 3-piece of this. The ride and crash sound great. The hats sound...okay. But these hats are the weak link of the 3. They sound like I'm hitting one of those metal plant shelf stands like the one I remember from my grandmaw's house. They're percussion, and they're usable, but it's just they don't sound like hi hats at all to me. I'll order just hats from another brand and let these be my "efx cymbal" hats. I've recorded with them, and they come across exactly as regular cymbals, except for the hats, which are nothing but absolute treble. No mid information out of them whatsoever. They're not altogether horrible, but they don't replace full volume hats.
