My favorite interaction with a furry at a comic con was me having an autistic meltdown and this rainbow colored cat just came over, saw what was happening and sat in front of me to shield me from the people around, so I had a little safe space among all those people. She also said if it helps she'd allow me to pet her or just hold her paw to calm down.

Blue is an introverted color, i myself am a fan of more muted, yet close to pastel blues. Canids are common as fursuits because dogs have evolved to be extremely expressive along our sides. That's the explanation right there

As blue dog, I say: if it’s popular enough to make a stereotype or community image, then it’s popular for a reason! Blue dogs are haha silly color, ya know?
Edit: also, at least in my case, there’s never a fabric store that sells fur colors OTHER than blue. There’s always blue fur. Can’t escape it.
