Back in the day when alot of countries idealized America. i remembered hearing stories from a taiwanese guy about the first McDonald's in Taipei. There was a long line blocks down the road, everyone in line talking about their own american experiences... Don't ever take for granted what you have, cause sadly, somewhere in the world, there's a person dreaming of just a taste of what you have.

Im a Malaysian 90s kid.. we will have the truck from Milo and Marrybrown in the school during children days.. we will queue at the truck to take our meal.. play with the mascot.. we got goodies.. aaahhh.. such a memories.. ❤

Yes, I'm a Malaysian and whenever I went to KFC for a birthday party the chicken must appear. For events in school too the chicken will come and entertain us and stuff. Memories

That's true in the Philippines when someone has a birthday often times the celebrant feeds the whole class on recess with McDonald's food or Jollibee. In school fairs mascots do come to school.
