5:07 - not necessarily! To anyone looking to buy a printer for college: talk to people in your intended school/major. It really depends on the professors and universities in general. My sister is at UGA and is rarely asked to turn things in on paper. When she is, there's a place in their student center to print - it's a small amount money (coins) to print a lot of pages. She says she's probably spent $5 in three years of college... which is less than one ink cartridge. She has a few friends who have bought printers and said it was a completely pointless investment. But it depends! Ask around :)
