The guy dancer, Chi Szeto, was at the time of his passing at 37 yo in January, the #1 dance instructor on YouTube with over 30 million hits. Chi danced with the group who became the Jabbawockeez -- now at the MGM at Vegas -- and was a dancer for live shows at venues as big as stadiums. He shouldn't have called this vid how to dance to EDM--it's more like how to just get by at best. When I first saw Chi's vids, I also thought he looked kind of odd and simplistic. But after meeting him and clubbing w/him in LA, I was amazed at how he would get hot girls to dance with him and get with him. Techno, hip-hop, no matter the music, he would pull girls through dance--and no matter how he looked on video, he really he was genius at it. He got so many girls who were freestyling to follow his lead. You guys who commented that the girl in the video is hot--notice she's no dancer but being taught by Chi. Chi used regular girls in his videos that he met at clubs. I'm sure he used his dancing to meet this girl and asked her to be in his vid. So yeah, Chi was for very much for real and his videos can probably teach most of you how guys to do better. Check out iDanceAcademy or ClubDanceKing. RIP Chi.

If anyone is here to learn how to dance at a rave... DON'T. The most important part of dancing at a rave is to have fun. Nobody is judging you. This video is just teaching you how to keep beat, but at the end of the day you can't just dance to music you don't like. Besides there are real dances to learn. Learn how to shuffle.

A super easy step transition: on the last beat of a 16 or 32 count, bring your body to a natural position and throw an elbow up, hand up right on the beat with a sassy snap! stupid easy but it looks effing classy..or the last four beats, go 1/4 time in a step (slo-mo) and then still a wicked fast snap right on the last beat, looks like you got hit with a strobe light, again EASY but no one else does it, so it looks unique and people go nuts.

If you make a choreography moves to a rave song would it not like kill the point to it? Wasnt the whole point of rave and psy music to let your body go free ?
