EDM DANCE STYLES

WE GON LEARN TODAY!! Today, the word "Shuffling" is being used to describe several different dance styles. To the untrained eye all of these styles might look the same, but they all possess their own unique differences. Shuffling has evolved a lot over the years since first appearing in the late 80s. The main thing that separates these styles from each other is the specific EDM genre that each style is danced to. Here are 6 different EDM dance styles that are seen today. Apparently Shuffling Shapes and Shape Cutting(or as I knew it, cutting shapes) are not the same thing lol. Shuffling Shapes seems to throw in just a tad of the Melbourne shuffle as 'the base' movement, while Shape Cutting seems to have a base movement of Jumpstyle just toned down jumps, yet faster paced than Shuffling Shapes. Love this video and it really helps me distinguish the types of EDM styles!

This video seriously needs a tracklist, so many people asking for the tune names and repeating themselves. I've tried scrolling through the whole lot to find out the second song name (stepping, Miami style section) and it's not there. Shazam links to something different.. HALP... I've got shuffle shapes pretty much down, but man, I'm so jealous of hardstyle shufflers and people that cut shapes so damn well.

All this shuffling reminds me of arcade games like Street Fighter and Mortal Combat because of how they kinda shuffle in place and also when they make their moves they kind glide over to the opponent.

I never learned any dancemoves, but danced since i was 4/5. I created my own style and its all of these in one.
