The Laplace Transform of the sine and cosine look really similar to the amplitudes of a driven damped harmonic oscillator with solution X(t)=Asin(wt)+Bcos(wt). I wonder why that is...

Do I remember correctly that the parameter s in the Laplace transformation is a complex number?
In this case, you need to fix your formula at the end. :)
