well, sure, that first 500 degree temp, is interesting to note, though without a scale of how long it takes a 100 briquette load to drop to 475, then 450, 425 ... and so on, one still wouldn't know how long they were grilling at what temp for how long, and that's where the question remains, if anyone knows of a "charcoal briquette temp over time" report or graphic, that'd be helpful
