GCSE History - Medicine Through Time: 20th Century Causes of Illness

This video lesson covers some of the basic principles on the understanding of the cause of disease in the 20th Century, including lifestyle, with a particular focus on the discovery of the structure of DNA and its implications for modern medicine.

The lesson is intended to support the Edexcel GCSE History Specification, but will probably be useful for other exam boards too. It should last about at 100 minutes, depending on the detail and depth to which tasks are completed.
