Awesome video. It's not only a great design, you give dimensions, details, what tools were used and give a clear step by step description. This is the "Gold Standard" of DIY videos.

I built one of these today, and it is solid as a granite block. Bandsaw is sitting on it now, and I plan to build several of these stands, for drill press, grinder, jointer, maybe router table. Some of your techniques made this one go together easily, and the first time I set it on the floor, it did not wobble at all. I plan to put wheels on this one before permanently mounting the bandsaw.

Great shop stand, I made two of these at the weekend, very easy, very sturdy and you can make them whatever size you need. I hardly had to measure a thing. - Thanks for the design and demo.

Thank you! Watch for a follow up video next week. I added wheels and a handle to be able to move it around easily.

Great looking and functional stand! I'll be making 2 of these I think this weekend. One for my Ryobi band saw and another for my Delta 12" drill press. Thanks for the video. And sorry I'm the first person to comment in 6 years. ☺️

I just bought a new to me Craftsman 21400 band saw and stumbled across your stand. This seems like the way to go. Pretty excited to use the saw, very hard to find these days too. Your stand should make it great.

It is a Kreg pocket hole Jig and you can buy them at Home Depot, Lowes, and Rockler just to name a few places. The kit I got came with the jig, the special drill bit, a square head bit for the screws, a DVD on how to use it, and a bunch of different size pocket screws for different thicknesses of lumber. It was right around $100 and worth every penny!
