I have to admit this is the clearest definition of proving a limit I've seen so far, I don't feel like I memorized it but I understand fully where I need to go and how . Thank u

This is the only video I was able to find that actually helped me understand what we're trying to do for an epsilon–delta proof of a multivariable limit. I could understand most of what was going on right until we chose a delta, because every source I could find completely glossed over why we chose said delta; it felt like they just pulled it out of a hat and said "QED". Now I understand why we were trying to show an inequality with |f(x, y) - L| and the distance between (x0, y0) and our limit point. For some reason, there was a complete disconnect for me, and you bridged that gap. Thank you so much for making this. :)

Hi, I'm a math student. I have to say, I really appreciate your work. Really helpful.

how can we find the second derivative of absolute value function?

And this is why I'm not majoring in math and doing engineering instead.

in 4.13 in first definition, it says: is kept close to C, what is this C? İs this wrong? also why there is writing: we need to show the gap between"f(x)" and L. Why f(x) is not f(x, y) ?
