Every time I see your copy of Slewfoot, I feel a burning desire to get it…I’m just a little scared about the ‘graphic torture scenes’ 😳 Really looking forward to The Things We Do To Our Friends - I have a feeling it’s going to be a 5 ⭐️ read for me 😊 My fave read of November was We Have Always Lived in the Castle - perfection! The only novels I got to this month (lots of uni readings and papers slowed me down) were Follow Me To Ground, which I enjoyed for the atmosphere, and read it one sitting, and Babel, which DESTROYED me and put me in a reading slump because nothing will ever compare. It is for sure my new favourite book of all time. My buzzword this month is "earthy gothic", both books and music- just got into the Amazing Devil on your recommendation and omg???? they're amazing. Loving the "alt-folk" vibes! so thats basically what im after in all parts of my life now. I think I'll try to read Slewfoot after my exams!
