A South African political leader has been accused of inciting ethnic violence by leading chants of "Kill the Boer, the farmer" at a rally.

"Dubul' ibhunu" is one of several political songs that played an important role in the fight to end apartheid, but it's considered inflammatory by some due to its lyrics.

What a disgusting chant. Have we learned nothing from the past years? They try to solve racism with racism. It's madness!!

the boers did exactly what the Israelis are doing in Palestine but unfortunately for them the black outnumbered them in every aspect, so let them deal with it.

as a boer I can let you know that we will not simply roll over and die. This song does not make me afraid.

If South Africans took over the Netherlands and took all the land and reminded there till this day, I’m sure they people of the Netherlands would be singing the same thing.

Julius Malema literally says "Kill The Boer, The Farmer" in English. How is this an issue of "unfair translation"?

LOL. They are singing it in English." Kill the Boer, kill the farmer" in English. And it's not meant literally. LOL. I've never seen such mental gymnastics performed so well.

That song: "kill the farmer" is so good for the farmers; it gives them all the moral corpus they lack in just one sentence.

He who lives by the sword will die by the sword" Inciting violence makes one personally responsible for the consequences. In fact the laws of the state say that "every person is responsible for the reasonable consequences of their actions" and that includes inciting violence.

Since it’s just a song against racism. We Arabs who escaped Zanzibar will sing it too. But using Bantu black people instead of boers.

Honestly insane to see the lies in this video. It is distorting the perspective of what is truly going on in South Africa. Stating that white genocide is a myth only shows you that this is either propaganda made to incite support for marketing murder or even worse, an uninformed, ignorant and foolish opinion. I question every "fact" or statement made in this video. It is far from truth.

I wish they knew how to live in peace with each other. South Africa wouldn’t have rose to prominence without the Dutch and the natives are proving that. I’d rather live in a nice place run by ppl who look differently than me (i already do) than to live in a ghetto place run by my own ppl.
