Fun Fact: The Artist of Luce (Which is also the Artist of Italia-chan for EXPO 2025) is pretty famous in italy. Tokidoki is a company made by artist Simone Legno that made various things, but the most famous thing is diaries that most italian kids used in school during the 2000-2010 era. Everyone practically knows this style and we love it.

The reason Luce's name is that similar to Lucifer's is just etymology. Luce, while an actual name, is just the Latin word for "Light". Similarly, Lucifer as a noun translates from Latin to "Morning Star", "Shining One" and, most importantly, "Light Bringer". Lucifer's story as an icon is long a complicated but to sum it up on the Christian side he was one of the first angels of God before falling to his pride, rebelling to God, and being kicked out from the Heavens. From there, he adopted the name Satan which translates to "Adversary", he's sometimes referred to as "[The Great Red] Dragon" in reference to Apocalypse.
