I haven't used Heroku, but could you explain what do you mean by "They will scale everything for you"? In DigitalOcean you can upgrade you droplet anytime you want, with one click.

Brilliant video. I built a front end but was intimidated by deployment. I tried heroku and got fllask app up and running pretty quickly. Thanks for confirming my experience. Heroku could save 2k per month on back end labor i would imagine. At a minimum.

Hi, good video. I have a question. If I have to sell a web application to a client hosted in heroku. How do I make him pay for the service (25 dollars for a standard plan, for example) if the application is in my account?

Hello! I've commented on a few Heroku videos already but I'm never sure if I'm getting an answer. lol. I'm here because I'm hosting 2 discord bots 24/7 thanks to Heroku, but my concern is if that the 1000 dyno hours the free plan offers is for the 2 apps you launch? Like both apps take from the 1000 hours? Or is it 1000 hours each app? :o Hopefully that made sense. lol

Heroku is Platform As A Service

which makes Heroku a DO with automated configuration but you will have to pay more for that automation
