Howdy Jake I learned in Texas spi 2.5 years ago, I kite most everyday and have gone thru more gear than most kiters
13 different brands, some new mostly used like new.
The reason for so many brands is after I buy one someone lets me try their kite and I like it better than what I have lol.
Currently my wife and I ride slingshot Rally's, lf solo, and flysurfer, with cf raptor ltd boards, lf bars, seat harness.

I was riding Griffin kites and this year went back in kiteboarding and wanted to go for F-one Bandits which I heard are one of the best. But I also considered the Naish Pivot. Then I saw the latest versions of EVO from North/Duotone and the Click Bar is indeed revolutionary. I can't make the difference between these kites because I never had the chance to test them all
However, in the end I've got the Duotone EVO's and I'm really stoked.
Board - F-one Trax Carbon. Very good board.

Hi Jake some good info in the video. I really appreciated the info on board styles. I did not know how rocker affects ride, so new info always good. Started kiting 5 years ago on Snow using used gear on Craigslist. Mostly self taught because my friend and I are the only ones here. Both nice and not so much as the only way we gain info are videos such as yours. First water was Costa Rica on Cabrinha kites. First new kite was Slingshot Turbine. Good kite and I would recommend it. 2nd new kite Cabrinha Contra great light weight design, disappointing relaunch, . But for me now I'm in love with my flysurfer Soul. If you haven't tried one you should! My next kite will probably be the 15m Soul my current one is a 21m. ( Yeah I know HUGE) I weigh 225 and when the wind is light I can still have an awesome session. I've used the 21 on snow, land (Buggying), water, and foiling. Last of all the foil Clearwater kite foil very inexpensive and ideal for the doityourselfers. Being a former shop teacher building it was a blast. Again thanks for your videos and advice in the past.

Hey Jake, nice video. You ride the slingshot RAD boots, i was wondering why you choose the RAD over de KTV or the Shredtown boots.
At the moment I ride Naish pivot 2015 a 7m, 9m and 12m with a fusion bar, 24m lines. I have a Brunotti Dimension 139* 42 with (at the moment Ronix Parks boots).

I was given Slingshot Wave SST kites when I left a school I was working for so I have been rocking them for 2.5 years now. I have a 7m and 9m. I've been looking at new kites and all around a new brand to move to as these do not suit my needs (I am on a slingshot Karolina Pro board and I have the slingshot Angry Swallow) and Tona is high on the list. Oh and I'm using a pair of very loved Ronix One boots that was given to me by a local pro in Hood River. Thanks for putting this together! It's definitely helping me make some gear decisions 🙌🏼

I’m riding Cabrinha kites and boards in west central Florida. Been loyal to my home town water sports store for over thirty years and they offer awesome support and service. Haven’t seen Tona but if I come across them on a demo day somewhere I’ll give it a go.

I ride a ronix board at the cable park even thought everybody rides slingshot there because my dad bought me that board because he thought I would be riding more behind the boat more than the cable but I ride more behind the cable than the boat these days. Also Jake I have a question how good do you think that tona boards would be behind the cable because I was thinking about telling the people I know at the wake board park about tona boards to see if they would be interested in trying to sell some tona boards at the shop at the wake board park I go to
