Machine Knitting - Partial Knitting/Short Row Circle

In this tutorial I will show how to knit a circle by creating pie shape segments in partial knitting. This can be done on a larger scale by casting on additional stitches.

Love this approach to making a circle. I wonder if this would work the the top of a knitted sock cap, instead of doing the shaped crown method? Or, would it give a flat top? Either way, might look interesting. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

If I wanted to make the circle bigger would I just increase the cast on by 3 and keep the pattern of row 2 and 3?
