When Should I Seek Medical Help For Pain?

So as far as when someone should, you know, seek a medical professional for pain in their body. I think, first and foremost, does it affect your lifestyle? Are you not able to do the things you want to do in life? That's my first question. The second one is, and this is very common with the shoulders, can you sleep at night? If you cannot get a good night's sleep, then it's probably time to come talk to someone. More so with the shoulder than other joints, I think a lot of individuals will often put it off and it's because we don't walk on our arms. We don't walk on our shoulders. So they put it off and then they use their other arm, which may be their non-dominant arm and they compensate and cope with this for years when there may be an option out there that they could seek some relief and it's not always a surgical option. Physical therapy, injections. These things are effective 95% of the time, we're not operating.

What determines how a person's bones remodel? I have read bones remodel continuously, and obviously not in a more functional direction. Is it epigenetic?
