I've listened to Teatro Lúcido a few times now and I truly believe the extensive use of Spanish in this album gave La Femme the creative freedom to express themselves fully. Not just lyrically, where the songs range vastly in concept from romantic, funny, charming, sad and shocking but audibly too. Spanish music certainly influenced this album but I love how they managed to tailor it to their own sensibilities as musicians, giving Teatro Lúcido its own distinctive essence. Perhaps it was more a work of art and love to them than it was a work made solely for money's sake. I don't know how popular this album will be among the French given the language barrier but to me it's one of their best works.

I'm fan of this band since 2015 and this album is shocking great. First time you hear it is like, wait, what is this, but then you realize is a master piece. One of the best albums of 2022.

Is it crazy to think the musics are connected telling a tragic story? I cant connect all songs through lyrics yet but in sacatela it mentions a "tío" obcessed with a girl. In the middle of the album a couple songs tottaly change pace and also it changes to a male singing "el tío del padu" and "el conde duque", it sounds like traditional regional songs related to bars and clearly in the second song the singers are drunk. After that we get "no pasa nada" which pretty much describes an abuse, a guy giving more drinking to a drunk woman, probably giving her some drug to sleep, then in the end of the music the woman wakes up in a strange house with police outside confirming the suspect abuse. Next song "resaca" which means hangover, this song comes with a more melancholic tone followed by an even more sad song "tren de la vida" with a very pessimist vision of life, and in the end of the song it says about the train getting to an end for a passenger that left us - died. Last song is the sadest, no vocals except a crying woman in the background and it does sounds like a funeral vibe. I cant yet recognized conection and deeper meaning on other songs but these ones do seem to be conected about a girl that was abused and maybe it was killed in the abuse or killed herself after a while and it finished with a tragic and melancholic end. Maybe the woman from the album over is the victim, maybe it is just singing her story.

Apres ca reste un tres bon album, de tres belle chansons, melodie etc etc... mais ca s'eloigne de la femme que j'aime. Apres le groupe evolue avec le temps, il se fait plaisir, il trouvera son public, j'irai le revoir en concert des que possible.

Vous ne cessez de surprendre d'album en album, votre film paradigmes a une ambition de déglingo : vous alliez le storytelling, l'esthétique, la musique et votre univers si singulier et maintenant Teatro Lúcido....punaise vous êtres vraiment un groupe très très très à part sur la scène Française, à la limite du trésor national ! :D Bon ok c too much mais c'est amplement mérité, votre douce folie est sublime et la musique votre écrin pour la recevoir et nous la transmettre :)
